These tuition fees may be subject to additional increases in subsequent years of study, in line with King’s terms and conditions.

Deposit

When you receive an offer for this course you will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit of £1,000 to secure your place. The deposit will be credited towards your total fee payment.

  • If you receive an offer before 31 May, payment is due by 30 June.
  • If you receive an offer between 1 June and 30 August, payment is due within one month of receiving the offer.
  • If you receive an offer between 1 September and 31 October, payment is due within two weeks of receiving the offer.
  • If you receive an offer between 1 November and 30 November, payment is due within one week from the offer date.
  • If you receive an offer from 1 December, payment is due within three days from the offer date.

* Depending on your country of residence, you may also have to pay Goods and Services Tax (GST) in addition to your tuition fees. You can find further information on the King's Goods and Services tax page.

Additional costs

In addition to your tuition costs, you can also expect to pay for:
  • Travel, accommodation and subsistence for the face-to-face training blocks in London
  • Internet access
  • Computer equipment
  • Photography equipment (to be discussed further at enrolment): digital camera with a macro lens and ring flash; SD card; retractors and mirrors; photo editing software
  • Since this is a clinical programme the majority of students find that they benefit from use of clinical operating loupes with or without headlamp illumination in order to facilitate their clinical development
  • Books if you choose to buy your own copies
  • Library fees and fines
  • Personal photocopies and printing of course materials
  • Society membership fees
  • Conference attendance (optional)
  • Stationery.
  • Binding for logbooks/dissertations - binding is not necessary but is optional
  • Examination fees (if not taken at venue in London)
  • Graduation costs
  • Clothing for optional course related events and competitions

Additional costs further information

Students will also be expected to bear any costs relating to providing clinical treatment for the clinical cases required for the course. Access to reasonable and compliant equipment and materials will be expected.

Our first application deadline is 1 November 2025 (23:59 UK time). The final application deadline for this programme is 21 November 2025 (23:59 UK time).

After the first application deadline:

  • if the programme is not yet full, we will continue to accept applications until all available places are filled, up to the final application deadline above
  • if the programme becomes full before the final application deadline stated above, we will close the programme to further applications

We recommend that you submit your application as soon as possible, particularly if your application may result in a conditional offer (for example, because you are awaiting English Language test results).
