Graduates of this course are excellently placed to progress into management or technical leadership positions in industry.
Our graduates have gone on to pursue successful careers in management roles across diverse sectors including systems engineers, strategy analysts, product managers, senior process engineers in companies including VAXA, Audi, Hike Capital, UK Power Solutions and more. We also see students pursue PhD research and go on to develop careers in research. Our exceptional students are also encouraged to translate their research findings into patents or create their own start-ups.
The Careers Service and the Department of Engineering run a careers programme for Engineering students. It provides resources such as a skills framework and tailored panel events with alumni and employers, alongside the extensive central careers provision.
