This programme is definitely a highlight of my time at King's. The Santander University Engagement Programme co‑initiated by King's and Santander was the starting point of my career and a great opportunity to explore something new.

What careers are there in mathematics?
Our graduates are highly sought after by investment banks, corporate risk management units, insurance companies, fund management institutions, financial regulatory bodies, brokerage firms, and trading companies.
Recent graduates have gone on to work as traders, analysts, risk consultants, derivative structures for companies including Capital Investment, Credit Suisse, European Bank for Reconstruction & Development, Bank of China, PwC, HSBC and Morgan & Stanley.
Some graduates have chosen to pursue postgraduate research degrees (PhDs) in Financial Mathematics at world-renowned universities.
The Careers Service and the Department of Mathematics offer a specifically tailored careers programme for Maths students, which includes skills sessions and visits from leading employers.
