Careers
Employability
As this course covers Stage 1 of British Psychology Society training, many graduates choose to progress to BPS Stage 2 to become registered health psychologists.
However, the broad skills you’ll learn on the course can be applied to many other roles too:
- You might explore further study with a PhD or doctoral training in clinical psychology (DClinPsy)
- If you’re interested in progression directly to job roles, you could be suitable for research assistant or assistant psychologist positions or jobs in local authorities, charities, public health, and digital health companies
- Our international students often take the knowledge they gain back to their home countries where a UK perspective helps them stand out and contribute to developing new services.
Throughout the course, you'll benefit from careers support including tutorials, Q&As, and workshops. Regular talks from alumni working in different sectors will help you explore the various options open to you.
