Teaching methods - what to expect
We use lectures, seminars and group tutorials to deliver most of the modules on the course. You will also be expected to undertake a significant amount of group work and independent study.
The total contact time for each 15-credit taught module is 20-30 hours. These sessions will include lectures, teacher-led and student-led group discussions based on the main areas of study. For the projects, which take place in summer, you will receive 2 project workshops and 4 hours of supervision with faculty. Entry to the Business Experience Project requires you to secure a summer internship that meets King’s Business School criteria related to rigour and length. Entry to the business consulting project is via competitive application.
Typically, one credit equates to 10 hours of work.
We will use a delivery method that will ensure students have a rich, exciting experience from the start. Face to face teaching will be complemented and supported with innovative technology so that students also experience elements of digital learning and assessment.
