Teaching methods - what to expect
We use a comprehensive range of teaching and learning methods, each tailored to the current area of study. Formal lectures account for only a small proportion of the curriculum. We aim to acknowledge the individuality of all students and tailor the course according to either a full-time (1 year) or part-time (2 years) pathway.
Student-centred learning is pivotal to our philosophy, and our teaching methods and support encourage self-development and awareness through reflection on experience. We utilise practitioners, researchers and lecturers to deliver high-quality research-based teaching. We will use a delivery method that will ensure students have a rich, exciting experience from the start. Face to face teaching will be complemented and supported with innovative technology so that students also experience elements of digital learning and assessment.
