Entry Requirements

UK applicants

Standard requirements

A minimum 2.2 in an undergraduate Bachelor's degree.

Bachelor's in a subject such as biology, biochemistry, biomedical sciences, cancer sciences, cell/molecular biology, genetics, immunology, medicine, natural sciences, (neuro) pharmacology, pharmaceutical sciences, or closely related.

 

If you hold a bachelor's in an unrelated science subject your application may be considered if you have: chemistry, dentistry, environmental science, mathematics, material sciences, nutritional science, physics, sports science, or similar but additionally holds a Masters degree with Merit in any of the subject related fields.

Selection Process

Personal statement and supporting information

A personal statement is a requirement as part of the application process, by answering the following 2 questions:

  1. Why are you applying for this specific programme, and how does it fit in with your future plans?
  2. How does your experience and education make you a suitable candidate for this programme?

References: Two references are required with at least one being academic. Professional references will be accepted if you have completed your qualifications over five years ago.
