Course essentials
The course aims to provide opportunities and help students in acquiring knowledge and understanding of the latest theoretical developments and practical applications in the corporate finance and investment management fields, of key elements of the philosophies and methodologies underlying a social science approach to the study of finance and business decisions, aspects of and inter-relationships between financial markets, corporations, financial institutions and financial services firms and their external macroeconomic environment.
The programme is driven by a combination of research, theory development and critical analysis, and practical application.

- Apply theoretical concepts and techniques in corporate finance and capital investment analysis, capital and derivative markets, and risk management, and investment management and security valuation.
