The UK Student Recruitment team regularly visits schools and colleges throughout the UK, attending higher education and careers fairs and delivering a range of higher education progression talks to Sixth form students and their parents. 

We are a small team and unfortunately can’t accept all event invitations. Please contact us at schools.liaison@kcl.ac.uk and we will review your request.

We attend higher education and careers fairs throughout the UK for students in Years 11, 12 and 13.

Our UK Student Recruitment team or our experienced student ambassadors will be available to advise students and their parents on the opportunities available at King’s, student life, and applying to us. If you are organising your school or college’s higher education or careers fair, please contact us as soon as you have a date.

We also attend third party university fairs and UCAS Discovery exhibitions throughout the UK.

Our experienced UK Student Recruitment team and student ambassadors deliver presentations to students in years 12 and 13, and parents. Session lengths can often be tailored to your requirements, but normally last 45 minutes including time for student questions.

Applying to Competitive Universities

Recommended for Year 12 and 13 students exploring university options, or well-prepared Year 11 students. Parents may also be interested.

Students interested in applying to competitive courses and universities will get an insight into what makes a course competitive, what universities look for and how they can make themselves stand out among the thousands of applications received every year. This talk includes information on the personal statement.

Studying in London

Available for Year 12 students exploring university options, or well-prepared Year 11 students. Parents may also be interested. This talk can also be adapted for students attending school or college in London and the surrounding areas.

Students exploring London universities will learn more about what it’s really like to live and study in London, and how it’s academic, cultural and international opportunities can benefit students long after graduating. This talk also covers student finance and accommodation and housing support.
