Gameplan is a free games-based website for 9–14-year-olds to learn more about university. It also hosts information and guidance resources for their supporters to help them guide a young person to university. Gameplan will equip students with fundamental knowledge on university. From university study, finance, student life, skills, future career options, subject exploration, qualification choices or even how to perform better in school.
Year 5-9 students: pupils get the chance to design their own avatar, watch videos, play games, and complete levels to earn points and move up on our national leader board!
King’s Scholars year 7-9 students: King’s Scholars programme participants will have exclusive access to Gameplan’s ‘King’s Scholars room’ where they can take part in our KS Challenges and win prizes.
Parents/Guardians/Carers: visit Gameplan to access free information, expert advice, hints and tips on how to best guide your young person to university and support their next steps.
Teachers: We have devised a 5-lesson scheme of work that accompanies this website for teachers to use in their classrooms. These include PowerPoints, plans, and resources. The aim is to teach pupils about higher education, from who goes to university, to how to set a weekly student budget.
