The Online Law Lecture Series is a free national programme of live online lectures designed to support students interested in studying Law at university. The series will include a programme of core academic law lectures alongside sessions focused on the university application process and careers in the legal profession.

Delivered by King’s College London academics, admissions staff, student ambassadors and legal professionals, the programme will give you an insight into what it is like to study law at university, and into the wide range of careers available in the legal sector. You will also become part of a community of like-minded students from across the UK who share your interest in Law.

• Become part of a national community of students interested in Law.
• Learn from King’s academics, current law students and legal professionals.
• Gain insight into what studying Law at university is really like.
• Develop your confidence and understanding of higher education.
• Find out more about the application process, including admissions and the LNAT.
• Explore a wide range of legal careers and routes into the profession.
• Have your questions answered through live Q&A sessions each week.

This programme is open to students who, as of September 2026, are:

• In Year 11, Year 12 or Year 13, or on a gap year prior to applying to university, or

Students must:

• Be currently attending (or most recently have attended) a state school (non-fee paying).
• If your school is selective, you must meet at least one additional widening participation criterion (full details will be available on the application form).

The programme will be delivered as a live online lecture series via Zoom Webinar. Students will be able to access the sessions through an internet browser or the Zoom app on a computer, tablet, or mobile device.

The lecture series will take place January – March 2027, with sessions held Thursday evenings after school.
