How to apply through Clearing on A-level results day (Thursday 13 August):

We may have a limited number of places available on courses through Clearing.

Please check our available courses webpage near to results day to check whether we have any courses open for Clearing applications.

Offers through Clearing can only be made to applicants who are aged 18 or above on 1 September 2026.

Once you have received your results, and have found a course you are interested in on our available courses webpage, call our Clearing hotline on +44 (0)20 3858 1050 from 08:00 (BST) on Thursday 13 August 2026. Please check you are eligible for Clearing before calling us, and have the following ready:

• UCAS Personal ID to hand (if you’ve applied to UCAS this year)
• A current email address
• Details of the qualifications you’ve studied, including subjects and grades.

Please note when you call the hotline we will ask you whether you're in Clearing, as well as some questions about where you live, and whether you’ve previously had an offer from King’s. If English isn’t your first language we will ask what English language proficiency tests you have taken.

When you speak to our Clearing Advisors, we will consider your application carefully and if we are able to offer you a place to study with us, we will let you know on the phone.

We will email you within 48 hours confirming a provisional verbal offer for the programme selected.

We will ask you to refer your application to King’s College London on UCAS for the programme selected by a given deadline and in all cases, as soon as possible.

Please note, you can only refer your application to King’s College London after a verbal offer has been agreed by phone and for the specific programme selected. If you refer your UCAS application to a different programme or without a verbal offer, your application will be made unsuccessful.

Once you have referred your application to us on UCAS, you will receive your login details to the King's Apply application portal. Please ensure that you check your messages on the portal regularly as we may request further information from you. 

Before we are able to formalise your offer, we may need to verify your qualifications for the programme selected and we will contact you via the King’s Apply portal to advise you of how to do this.
