English with Creative Writing BA at King’s College London combines the depth and rigour of an English degree with creative writing built into all three years of the course. You’ll explore literature across genres, periods and cultures while developing your own writing through workshops, feedback and creative practice.

Alongside a strong foundation in English, you’ll build a portfolio of original work, gain editorial experience, and learn from published authors and industry professionals. Course essentials

English with Creative Writing BA combines the study of literature with creative practice across all three years of the degree. You’ll explore texts across genres, periods and cultures while developing your own writing through workshops, feedback and collaborative creative work. Alongside building strong analytical and communication skills, you’ll graduate with a portfolio of original writing and insight into publishing, media and the wider creative industries. Taught in central London by leading academics, published authors and industry professionals, the course offers a creative and intellectually rigorous environment in one of the world’s leading literary capitals.
