The Careers Service run tailored sessions for students in the Department of Mathematics, including a careers programme of skills sessions, alumni job panels and visits from top employers.
We will provide you with the ideal preparation for employment in commerce, industry or finance, where a high degree of numeracy and a well-developed ability to think logically are required.
Many mathematics graduates become statisticians, actuaries, scientists, accountants, and so on. More and more often they are also going into careers in life sciences or the City.
