After you graduate, you’ll be eligible to register as a midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
King’s midwifery graduates are sought after by employers. They’re known for being highly knowledgeable and capable of tackling the complex challenges of modern healthcare. Our students secure diverse roles in hospitals and community, research, teaching and management. Perhaps you’ll be a caseload midwife or maybe you’ll specialise in a specific area like sexual health.
We have an excellent reputation for producing outstanding clinicians and world leaders in specialist areas. For example, one graduate is the midwifery consultant for the London Ambulance Service, while another has played an instrumental role in writing the Sands guidelines.
Whatever their chosen pathway, our midwifery graduates are ready to face the challenges of a career in midwifery and the complexities of pioneering healthcare.
