I have accessibility requirements; how do I inform the event organisers?

Please include all details of your accessibility requirements on the booking form and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss arrangements.

Is there car parking at the event?

We encourage all attendees to use public transport to attend an open day as there are very limited parking facilities near campus. If you have blue badge parking, please let us know on the booking form and a member of the team will be in touch.

• The campus will open at 9:30 and close at 16:30. You are welcome to arrive at any point during this time frame. 
• If you have booked any talks or tours, we recommend arriving to campus at least 30 minutes before your first talk to allow enough time to get through out arrival point and make your way to your first talk.
• You will be given a wrist band at arrival point; please keep this safe. You are welcome to leave campus and return at any point on the same day, but please ensure you keep your wrist band on. Please note that the event will end at 16:30, after which time you will no longer have access to campus.
• When you arrive, you will be given a brochure that includes a map of the campus and key information including a timetable of talks with their locations.

When do I receive confirmation of my tickets?

Once you’ve booked your admission ticket and any sessions you’d like to attend, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your QR code. Please bring this QR code with you on the day as this will be scanned on entry.

Do I need to book tickets for my guests?

You will be able to select one guest as part of your initial booking onto campus as well as any sessions you want to attend. If you have not yet added your guest to your booking, you are able to do so via the ticket confirmation email. 

There are no more tickets available for the sessions I want to attend, what can I do?

If you are unable to book tickets for the talks you’re interested in, we still recommend arriving on the day and asking the staff at the lecture theatre if there is any on the day space due to cancelled tickets or no shows. If the lecture theatre is at maximum capacity, we recommend visiting the subject hubs and speaking to current students and lecturers to find out more about the courses directly.

Who can I speak to on the day if I need assistance or directions?

Our student ambassadors will be present at each event, and they will be dressed in the red ambassador t-shirts. They will be more than happy to help find the information you are looking for and point you in the right direction.

How much of the campus will I be able to see?

You are welcome to walk around the entire campus during the event, but please be aware some teaching spaces will be closed to the public. To view specific facilities such as residences, the library and gym, you will need to book onto the tours taking place during the event.

• Refreshments and lunch will be available at our King's Food outlets across campus. You are also welcome to bring your own food and drink. Please note no food is allowed inside the lecture theatres.
• Our open days take place in the heart of London. If you would like to go for lunch and/or refreshments outside of our campus, you are welcome to but please ensure you wear your wrist band (provided at arrival point) otherwise you will not be able to come back onto campus.

• If you are planning on attending any talks or tours, please arrive at least ten minutes before their schedule start time.
• There will be limited time for questions during the talks so we encourage you to visit the subject hubs and student experience fairs where you will be able to chat in more detail.

• We recommend planning your visit ahead of your visit. However, we understand you may have questions about what to expect on the day.
• Join us online the Monday before your open day and have your questions answered live by members of staff. Tickets will open in May, and we will email you with a link to sign up.
