About

Opening in 2025, The Pears Maudsley Centre for Children and Young People is set to be the world-leading centre for child and adolescent mental health. Developed by the King's Maudsley Partnership for Children and Young People, a unique collaboration the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King’s College London, South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust and the Maudsley Charity, the centre will bring together clinical and academic excellence to ensure that research is translated into practical treatments to benefit young people in the shortest possible time.

The building will be home to many National and Specialist CAMHS services, the Maudsley and Bethlem Hospital School and state of the art clinical research facilities, as well as the King’s Maudsley Partnership.

Leading clinicians, scientists and educators will work side-by side in the Pears Maudsley Centre ‘collaboration hubs’, designed for collaboration and built to adapt to the changing needs of children and young people in our care, across the UK and around the world.
