King’s College London is pleased to publish its admissions statistics. We have a commitment to transparency and to make the data more readily available to prospective students so they can make the best decision possible for their journey in higher education.
The data on this page has been broken down according to our nine faculties. We have also presented more details about applications made to our medicine and dentistry courses as well as applications made from China.
We receive many requests asking for admission statistics related to the courses we offer at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The data provided here shows these figures over a five-year period, presented by UCAS cycle for undergraduate courses, and by academic year of entry for postgraduate courses respectively. The data has been presented by faculty to make it more readable, given the number of courses that are on offer at the University.
Admission statistics for applicants are based on a UK/non-UK domicile split.
Applicants domiciled in China are also shown in the following reports as this is the most common non-UK domicile referred to in previous requests.
We are frequently asked about entry requirements and the interview process for four of our medicine and dentistry programmes (with UCAS course codes: A100, A101, A102, and A205 respectively).
The requests are often about the bearing University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT) scores have on progressing to the interview stage, and interview scores on progressing to the offer stage of the admissions process.
The following files detail admissions statistics for those courses, along with the distribution of UCAT scores and interview scores for those at the application, interview, and offer stages.
As part of our annual statutory reporting requirements, we submit student data to the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) alongside other UK higher education institutions. HESA is therefore also best placed to provide data that is comparable across different higher education institutions.
