Introduced by Advance HE in 2000, the National Teaching Fellowship Scheme (NTFS) recognises, rewards and celebrates individuals who have made an outstanding impact on students’ outcomes and the teaching profession.

This highly competitive scheme and prestigious award is recognised both nationally and internationally for excellent contributions to learning and teaching in Higher Education from across the UK.

We currently have four National Teaching Fellows at King's:

  • Professor Sally Everett, Business Education, Vice Dean (Education), King's Business School
  • Professor Michael Kolling, Computer Science, Vice Dean (Education) Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences
  • Sharon Markless, Centre for Education, Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine
  • Russell Hearn, Reader in Medical Education & Deputy Director of Community Education
