Sustainability & Climate: Learn, Discover, Take Action module
Enrol on the KEATS Sustainability & Climate module
The 'Sustainability & Climate: Learn, Discover, Take Action' module on King’s KEATS platform is a fully co-created, open-access interdisciplinary online module.
Developed by students, alumni, academics and professional services staff, it is a module designed by the King’s community, for the King’s community. It covers the biggest topics in sustainability – from climate, food and health to sustainable finance and social justice.
The module aims not only to equip participants with sustainability knowledge across topics including climate justice, food and health, sustainable finance and waste, but to help them to develop the agency to take action on the issues that most concern them.
Interactive features are embedded into the module through blogs, pledges and discussion forums.
Participants who complete the module by the end of June each year receive a certificate and badge, and completion is recorded in students’ Higher Education Achievement Report (HEAR).
The estimated time to complete the module is 15 minutes per week.

“I really liked the section on economic sustainability”
Over the summer each year, we recruit a team of student volunteers to help develop and update the module. This includes a range of roles from analysing existing content to creating communications materials.
