Empowering the next generation of changemakers to address the climate and ecological crises

King's students are empowered to shape a more sustainable future through our curriculum, training and development opportunities, careers support and a range of events.

We equip and inspire students to develop the knowledge, skills and values they need to address complex global sustainability challenges they will encounter throughout their personal, civic and professional lives.

Students undertaking a climate fresk workshop

All King’s graduates will understand how their learning can address the climate and ecological crises and empower them to contribute to a more sustainable future in the workplace and society, aligned with their own values.

Education for Sustainability

King’s is committed to Education for Sustainability (EfS), ensuring that all our students are offered both taught and extra-curricular sustainability-related education. As part of this, we have developed an EfS toolkit, enabling staff to embed climate education within their curricula, and offer a targeted fund to help staff develop and map innovative new approaches to EfS.
