Support for Researchers & PhDs
We offer dedicated careers support and services to post-graduate researchers and research staff.
Access to all the services we provide is free, and this includes one-to-one advice, use of the library and attendance at any career events and fairs. After your degree or contract finishes, you’ll be able to continue to use our services for up to two years.

King's Careers & Employability provides training and events that complement the researcher development training offered by the Centre for Doctoral Studies and the Centre for Research Staff Development. We teach career management skills, such as career decision-making, writing CVs and applications, or how to network professionally, for example. Find out more about these training sessions through SkillsForge.
Additionally, we host events where researchers can meet alumni and other employers who value the expert research skills offered by candidates with PhDs and other research experience. Please check on King's CareerConnect and Do1Thing for all opportunities.
More news and information is available through the Centre for Doctoral Studies and Centre for Research Staff Development blogs.
