Career Inspiration AI tool and King's Skills for the Future reflection tool

Our new AI-driven Career Inspiration tool on King's CareerConnect allows you to answer a few quick questions about your skills, interests, and experience and be prompted on roles and sectors that might match your interests. Discover careers you hadn't considered and get real insight into what makes you a great fit.

You'll also be able to undertake your King's Skills for the Future self-assessment tool and set of learning pathways on King's CareerConnect. It is designed to help you evaluate, develop and expand your existing skill set. It focuses on 36 high-value skills that are particularly important for your employability.

CareerSet is a CV and cover letter checking tool available to all King's students and recent graduates. CareerSet:

Shortlist.Me is an online tool that offers practice interviews at different levels and in various sectors to help you develop your interview skills. It allows you to:

• tailor your interview preparation to a specific career sector
• build your confidence and learn from any mistakes
• review how your interview went with the use of feedback prompts and guidance on how much of the answer time you used
• familiarise yourself with interviews before receiving further support from a careers advisor.
