CareerSet is a CV and cover letter checking tool available to all King's students and recent graduates. CareerSet:

• uses advanced AI to give personalised recommendations on how to improve your CV or cover letter
• scores your CV based on its overall impact, style and brevity
• provides suggestions on how to optimise and personalise your cover letter
• allows you to upload job descriptions of roles you are applying for and gives you tips on how to tailor your CV and cover letter to a specific role.

Shortlist.Me

Shortlist.Me is an online tool that offers practice interviews at different levels and in various sectors to help you develop your interview skills. It allows you to:

• tailor your interview preparation to a specific career sector
• build your confidence and learn from any mistakes
• review how your interview went with the use of feedback prompts and guidance on how much of the answer time you used
• familiarise yourself with interviews before receiving further support from a careers advisor.

Global Placements Hub on KEATS

The Global Placements Hub contains careers education to support your entire placement journey at King's. It includes handbooks, events, interactive content and pathways to help you find the right placement for you.

Our Global Placements Hub is available to students in King's Business School (KBS) and the Faculty of Natural, Mathematical & Engineering Sciences (NMES).
