Using King’s CareerConnect

King's CareerConnect is our online careers portal enabling students, recent alumni, staff and employers to engage with our services and make the most of what we offer.



Once set-up, you can:

  • Access our vacancy board, search for part-time work, placements, internships and graduate-level opportunities from employers targeting King's students and recent alumni.
  • Set alerts and reminders for new opportunities and events according to your personal preferences and career goals and receive targeted information to your King's inbox.
  • Book careers or application guidance appointments, practice interviews and careers lounges.
  • View our events calendar and book attendance at our fairs, masterclasses, presentations, workshops, panels and other events.
  • Undertake various Pathways including King's Skills for the Future, Sector Pathways and How to Engage with Employers or participate in our King's Experience Awards.
  • Access our Careers Discovery Feed containing a wealth of information, resources and content to help you with your career search, ideas and inspiration.
  • Access your Careers Passport, giving you an overview of your careers engagement.
  • Explore various subscription services designed to help you with virtual interviews, practice psychometric tests, case interviews, exploring international careers and more.

Getting Started

Current students will automatically be registered with your King's username, which begins with the letter 'K' and is followed by eight to ten numbers (eg. k012345678) once you have enrolled online and received your King's ID card (either physically or digitally).

If you are experiencing issues accessing the system please let us know so that we can investigate it for you.

When you contact us, please try to include a screenshot image of any error messages you receive, the web browser you are using (e.g. Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Firefox etc.), where you are trying to access (i.e. on campus, in a student residence or off site) and whether you have experienced any problems with other King's website which require your single sign on (e.g. KEATS).

targetjobs is a commercially provided product from our supplier and data processor, Group GTI.

It is NOT part of King's Careers & Employability and is not associated with using King's CareerConnect, however you may be provided the option to register for this service when you create or update your profile.

You must opt-in to register for targetjobs and neither King's Careers & Employability, nor King's College London accepts any responsibility for the content of its provision or its use of your details. You can opt-out of receiving the service at any time by updating your King's CareerConnect settings.

King's Careers & Employability makes every effort to ensure organisations registering with us are legitimate and that opportunities listed on our website, emails, newsletters and publications are bona fide.

Neither King's Careers & Employability, nor King's College London accept responsibility for how participating organisations use your data/information and cannot be held liable for any costs or damages incurred by applications for opportunities posted on King's CareerConnect.

We will endeavour to remove any opportunities where it can be demonstrated that the organisation has breached our terms or is in contravention of UK (or equivalent local) law.
