University Staff Attachment Programme
Every year, we offer our researchers the opportunity to apply to work at the Crick. The duration and scale of the work that can be undertaken at the institute is flexible. The opportunities range from short sabbaticals of up to one year, to more substantial attachments where all or part of a research group relocates to the institute for up to six years.
Attachments can be proposed for any research area within the Crick strategy. The proposals that offer the most added value for both King’s and the Crick will be selected to go forward.
There are already 12 King’s researchers (see details below) based at the Crick working in physics, chemistry, informatics, cancer, immunology, neuroscience and cell and developmental biology - each benefitting from wider scientific collaborations with some of the Crick’s 100+ research groups and their state of the art Science Technology Platforms and Facilities.
For the 2023 call, the Crick is open to any research topic, but particularly encourages applications relating to:
- Clinical discovery research and translational clinical research
- Engineering, physical, mathematical, and computational research
If you are interested in applying this year, please visit our internal webpages where you can download the guidance notes and review the application forms.
