The Autism Diagnostic Interview Revised (ADI-R) is considered to be one of the gold standard clinical diagnostic instruments for assessing autism in children and adults. The ADI-R provides a diagnostic algorithm for autism as described in both the ICD and DSM. This comprehensive interview focuses on behaviour in three main areas: qualities of reciprocal social interaction; communication and language; and restricted and repetitive, stereotyped interests and behaviours.

This 3-day online training course (delivered via Zoom) is suitable for researchers and clinicians working with children and adults, and who have existing experience with autism spectrum disorders.

Date: Wednesday 16th - Friday 18th March 2022
Time: 9.30am - 4.30pm (registration from 9.15am on first day of the course)
Cost: £795.00.  Cost includes ADI-R interview booklet, comprehensive algorithm form and teaching slides.
Course Trainer: Emma Woodhouse

Training Materials:
As this is an online course, training materials are posted out to attendees.
Attendee from the UAE are welcome to attended; however due to postage issues, attendees from this region will need to provide their own booklets for use on the course. Please contact fansevents@kcl.ac.uk for more information before booking.

Pre-Course Work
We strongly recommend that all delegates complete an ADI-R interview prior to the training course. This can be completed with a parent of a child or adult (any age) - they do not need to have autism. The purpose is to familiarise yourself with the interview- we know from previous courses that this experience enables delegates to get much more from the training.
