APT 2026 (Academic Practice & Technology Conference)

Strand Building, Strand Campus, London

19JunGeneric conference hero

The twenty-fourth Academic Practice and Technology (APT 2026) conference will take place on Friday 19th June 2026. The conference will be hosted at King’s College London, in the Great Hall on the Strand campus.

The conference theme is Business as usual: Scholarly practice in a transformed/transforming digital landscape.

As a one-day, in-person event, the conference design aims to maximise the benefits of face-to-face interactions by encouraging submissions that are both engaging and participatory in nature to provide colleagues an opportunity to discuss, debate, reflect on ideas and emerging practice and to further strengthen and develop our APT community.

The Academic Practice and Technology Conference (APT) is a practitioner-led conference for colleagues across higher education who care about how technology really shapes teaching, learning and academic work. For more than twenty years, APT has brought together educators, learning technologists, academic developers and institutional leaders to share practice honestly, question assumptions, and collectively navigate digital change. More information about APT can be found here.
