Artificial Intelligence is a threat to democratic norms. Machine learning bots can be, have been and are being used by malign forces to disrupt democratic processes. The literature as a result is replete with warnings! But can this threat that AI poses be put on its head?

Join us online on Monday 20 October at 11am for a panel discussion dedicated to the question: “Can AI help realise democratic values?”

Confirmed panellists:

  • Prof Adrian Blau is Professor of Politics in the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London.
  • Dr Sara Closs-Davies is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Taxation at Alliance Manchester Business School.
  • Prof Helen Margetts is Professor of Society and the Internet at the University of Oxford.
  • Prof Joe Tomlinson is Professor of Administrative Law at The Dickson Poon School of Law, King's College London.
