Throughout her time at CNN, Christiane has secured exclusive interviews with global power players. After 9/11, she was the first international correspondent to interview UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, French President Jacques Chirac, and Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf. Her other interviewees have included the likes of Hillary Clinton, Nicolás Maduro, Malala Yousafzai. Hassan Rouhani, Emmanuel Macron, Angela Merkel, John Kerry, the Dalai Lama, Robert Mugabe and Moammar Gadhafi, among countless others.

In the week of International Women’s Day, join us to hear about Christiane’s remarkable career as a leading woman in journalism and her views on the state of gender equality today.

Joining her in conversation are Julia Gillard, GIWL Chair and former Prime Minister of Australia, and Kelly Beaver MBE, Chief Executive of Ipsos in the UK and Ireland, who will share findings from our annual survey of global attitudes to gender equality, including views on inclusion in business and politics.
