He is also currently a non-executive director of Maru Group, a technology-driven global insights company with operations in North America and the UK.
Throughout his career Anthony has focused on private equity transactions and growth equity financings. He held senior executive and board roles at Lehman Brothers and Robert Fleming & Co. Limited and his sector specialisation started with a deep understanding of the global industrials sector. In more recent years he has focused on business services, media, data, fintech and “disruption” (businesses that disrupt markets with technology and/or with new business models).
Entrepreneurs are often disrupters, seeking to reimagine industry verticals with new products, technology or processes. Frequently, the pre-disposition to embrace change in their target markets is non-existent - so entrepreneurs have to fight not only to build out and fund their businesses but also to encourage adoption of their offer. Anthony Gahan has advised many entrepreneurs facing these challenges – and has first-hand experience with his own start-up in seeking to change an industry famed for decades of no innovation. This webinar explores some of the key challenges to deliver innovation and how the pandemic may have helped change the game.
