Dental Weekend 2022 will take place on 20–21 May 2022. The SPS Alumni and Staff Dental Dinner will take place on Friday evening 20 May, at the Hilton Tower Bridge Hilton Hotel, a stone’s throw from Guy’s Tower. This promises to be an exciting evening with the usual excellent meal, prize giving, raffle and entertainment. Plus, it is probably the first time in a long period that we will all have the opportunity to mix again and catch up with old friends and colleagues. The dress code is Black Tie (optional), with guests and partners warmly welcome to join us.
Dental Weekend continues with our Clinical Open Day on Saturday 21 May in Guy’s Tower. This year’s programme includes the Keynote lectures in memory of Professor Rod Cawson and Professor Walter Herbert, this year given by Professor Kathy Fan and Professor Tim Newton respectively. There will also be the opportunity to hear from our Executive Dean, Professor Michael Escudier on updates at the Faculty of Dentistry, Oral & Craniofacial Sciences, tours of recently re-furbished clinical teaching facilities. Lunch will again be hosted by our Executive Dean, providing guests with an opportunity to meet Professor Escudier, whilst networking with fellow alumni and staff.
Please note that the Hygienists’ and Therapists’ Specialist Section Meeting will this year take place on the week before the main Alumni Weekend activities, on Friday 13 May.
