Enabling Success using Prosper: Managers Takeover
Your institution has committed to providing research staff with a minimum of 10 days of career development each year, but what does meaningful support look like in practice?
Whether you're looking for ways to help your research staff explore career options, develop new skills, and make the most of opportunities both within and beyond academia, or you're simply seeking ideas from fellow PIs and research leaders, Prosper can help.
Join this session to discover the resources available through the Prosper Portal, including dedicated content from the PI Network. We'll showcase practical ways to use Prosper, from simple signposting to more in-depth engagement, helping you confidently support your researchers' career development while managing competing priorities.
By the end of this session, you'll be able to
- Signpost your research staff to Prosper resources that support career development within and beyond academia.
- Create a personalised collection of resources you can return to and recommend regularly.
- Quickly access resources aligned to topics commonly encountered by PIs and managers of research staff.
- Identify resources to support your own professional and career development.
- Whether you're new to Prosper or looking to make fuller use of what's available, this session will help you get the most from the platform for both your research staff and yourself.
