To inform attendees about the huge role of animal agriculture in the climate crisis, the role KCL plays, and how they can make a difference.

It is no secret that animal agriculture is playing a massive role in destroying our planet. Whether it is emitting around 1/4 of global GHG emissions, causing 71% of Amazon deforestation, or contributing to 805 million hungry mouths globally- it is unsustainable.

In this talk, students from the Plant-Based Universities campaign will talk about how KCL can have a direct impact on food systems, simply by transitioning to just and sustainable plant-based catering.

This talk is not merely informative; it is a call to action for all students and staff at KCL to demand their university does what is right.
