Join the Engineering department for an evening of speed networking! This event will allow alumni to volunteer their time and share their professional experience with current Engineering students, whereas students will be provided with an opportunity to explore the various career paths that will be available to them upon graduation.
At the start of the evening alumni will have the chance to network with one another, while students will receive a workshop on networking from Dr Francesco Restuccia. We will then start the speed networking part of the evening where alumni will share their professional experience with small groups of students for 7 minutes at a time, speaking to various professionals. At the conclusion of the evening, there will be time for alumni and students to mingle.
By giving your time to support our students at this speed networking event, you will receive an alumni volunteer digital credential in recognition of your volunteering efforts. This digital credential can be synced up to your LinkedIn profile under the ‘licenses and certifications’ section. You can learn more about digital credentials on our alumni office website.
