Grant Writing Jumpstart

Macadam Building, Strand Campus, London

26Junnull

Grant Writing Collaboration Jumpstart is an interdisciplinary initiative designed to support researchers in developing stronger grant and fellowship applications through peer learning, constructive feedback, and collaborative exchange. The session provides a dedicated space for participants to reflect on successful funding applications, including grants and fellowships, and to share insights into the strategies, challenges, and lessons that shaped those outcomes.

The event encourages open discussion of funding opportunities across the UKRI, European, and wider research funding landscapes, while fostering a supportive environment for reviewing and refining emerging proposals. By bringing together researchers from diverse disciplinary backgrounds, the initiative also seeks to stimulate new intellectual connections and identify opportunities for future collaborations, including joint research projects, conference panels, and interdisciplinary funding applications.

Through collective reflection and knowledge exchange, the Grant Writing Collaboration Jumpstart aims to strengthen research capacity, enhance funding competitiveness, and cultivate a sustainable community of peer support.

This event is being led by Dr Steven George and supported by the Centre for Digital Culture. To register, please kindly email the organiser: steven.george@kcl.ac.uk
