How to push for progress on the UK’s gender pay gap - 18 October 2021

Please note that this event has passed.

Newly released figures show that progress on the UK's gender pay gap has stalled, with no improvement on the last time companies had to report their pay gaps, pre-Covid.

As we slowly emerge from the pandemic, what actions can we take to pick up the pace? And how can they also feed into calls for ethnicity pay gap reporting in the UK?

Join GIWL and the Fawcett Society as we draw on our recent study to discuss best practice for business and what we can do to keep up the pressure on both the government and employers to push for change.

Panel:

  • Jess Phillips, Labour MP for Birmingham Yardley
  • Felicia Willow, Interim CEO, the Fawcett Society
  • Ann Francke OBE, CEO, Chartered Management Institute
  • Aleida Borges, Research Associate, Global Institute for Women’s Leadership
  • Professor Rosie Campbell, Director of the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership (chair)
