Informatics Research Showcase 2024: Discover how to innovate with us

Strand Building, Strand Campus, London

10JunInformatics Research Showcase

Join us for a research showcase with the Department of Informatics, to discover how your organisation can benefit from cutting edge research at King's College London.

From AI, robotics, cybersecurity, software systems, digital healthcare, blockchain technologies, green computing and more - our research addresses the key economic, societal, and environmental challenges of the 21st century.

The programme will include a short presentation from the Head of Department, Professor Luc Moreau, followed by poster presentations and interactive demonstrations of our work, with a chance to network over a light lunch. You’ll learn what we’re passionate about, see our research up close and meet the brilliant staff and students behind this.

Some of the demonstrations and posters on the day:

  • AI design assistants for games, virtual worlds and digital art
  • Wearable robotics devices for patients with upper-limb motor disorders
  • Autonomous service robots for your home
  • Strategic bidding wars in blockchain auctions
  • Re-engineering software to be sustainable

The event is open to anyone interested in exploring potential collaborations, such as industry professionals, investors, start-ups, government agencies, local authorities, and of course researchers from other universities!
