Following the first successful session in this collaboration between Pinsent Masons and the Centre of Construction Law & Dispute Resolution at King's College London, we are excited to announce the second event in this seminar series.

Led by lawyers from international law firm Pinsent Masons and by King's College London Centre of Construction Law & Dispute Resolution, the series comprises of several sessions where panels of counsel, clients, and arbitrators discuss the various stages of undertaking a construction arbitration.

The second lecture will be held on 24 June 2024 at the Great Hall, King’s College London. In this session, we will cover Interim Measures, Initial Stages, and Settlement.

Those crucial early phases of arbitration, including obtaining emergency/interim measures and securing evidence to protect your rights and assets, set the stage for the proper resolution of the dispute at stake. And learning how to navigate those stages strategically is a skill that simply cannot be overstated.

During the session, attendees will gain insights from the viewpoints of practitioners, clients, and arbitrators regarding the practical aspects and key considerations on best practices, common obstacles, and crucial points that should not be forgotten.

The session is followed by a networking reception where drinks will be served. Make sure you don’t miss it!
