Join us at the next EEG Working Group meeting for a joint presentation by Juliette Champaud and Dr Parvaneh Adibpour, who will share their recent research on the developing brain, focusing on both spontaneous and sensory-evoked EEG activity in neonates and infants.
Juliette Champaud will present on spontaneous EEG activity in neonates, offering insights from microstate analysis and discussing the methodological challenges of studying early brain dynamics. Parvaneh Adibpour will then extend the discussion to sensory-evoked activity in infants, their maturation and functional organisation, sharing some insights from EEG and functional MRI.
Join us to explore how the infant EEG behaves, both at rest and in response to external stimuli!
If you are based at St Thomas's, come join in person!
About the speakers
Juliette Champaud is a LIDo PhD candidate at UCL and KCL studying the neonatal development of resting-state functional brain activity using EEG.
Dr Parvaneh Adibpour is a postdoctoral fellow at the Early Life Imaging Department, KCL, studying functional brain development using EEG and simultaneous EEG-fMRI.
