About the 2026 King's AI Summit

The King’s AI Summit: Workforce Futures will convene senior leaders from government, business, public sector, trade unions and the research community to examine the innovations driving today’s AI models and address urgent questions about their impact on jobs, skills, expertise, inequality and the quality of work.

Over the course of two days, frank solutions-focused debate and cross-sector exchange will build common understanding of how AI can improve work and organisational performance, and how we prepare for it shaping the workforce of the future.

Register for the Summit here.

  • Skills & upskilling: How are skill profiles changing with AI at work, and how can workers proactively develop new capabilities?

  • Governance & ethics: What forms of regulation and assurance best align AI with ethical obligations in practice?

  • Human–AI dynamics: Are human–AI interactions displacing human–human interdependencies at work—and what does this mean for social relations and learning norms?
