King’s Climate & Sustainability, a cross-university drive to rapidly scale our response to the challenge of the climate emergency and global sustainability, seeks to accelerate and connect research, education and innovation across King’s.

We will be hosting our second networking event on Wednesday 24 May 16:00-19:00 at Science Gallery London.

With a special focus on sustainable healthcare innovations, the event will open with 3-minute pitches from members of the King’s community who are at the forefront of sustainability education, research, innovation and action. Here are just a few of the exciting pitches we will be hearing from:

  • Embedding sustainability education in FoDOCS
  • Environmental sustainability and health: the case of digital technologies
  • Culture Climate Collective
  • Extreme heat in cities and the value of green spaces
  • King's start-ups

The event will be followed by facilitated open discussion and networking.

This event is open to King’s research and professional services staff and doctoral / postgraduate students actively working in the climate and sustainability space. Tickets will be given out on a first-come first-served basis. Please let us know if you if you are no longer able to attend so that we can reallocate your place.
