Speaker: Dr Else Arcaute, University College London

Urban systems can be studied at different spatial resolutions, which feedback into one another. In this talk, we use clustering techniques of networks embedded in space in order to uncover the emergent hierarchies and the relevant resolution. In particular, we look at infrastructural networks giving rise to geographical divisions, and at the evolution of clusters of economic activity in London.
