Postdoc Funding Opportunities [INTERNAL EVENT]

This workshop will provide an introduction to postdoctoral funding, as well as hints and tips on securing and undertaking these opportunities. Led by Dr Matthew Moran, Director of Research in the Department of War Studies, and the School Research Manager, John Fogarty, the workshop will cover:

- Overview of the main postdoctoral funding opportunities (John Fogarty)

• ESRC LISS DTP Postdoctoral Fellowship
• British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship
• Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship
• ESRC New Investigator Award

- Current awardholders discuss their experiences securing and undertaking specific fellowship opportunities:

• ESRC LISS DTP Postdoctoral Fellowship (Hanna Ketola)
• British Academy Postdoctoral Fellowship (Victoria Hudson)
• Leverhulme Early Career Fellowship (Daniel Salisbury)
