This session is dedicated to PhD students and early career researchers interested in learning more about what it takes to get published and what journal editors are looking for. Using a question/answer forum, this virtual space will provide colleagues with an opportunity to ask questions about the publishing process and learn what journals are doing to address particular challenges.
We have two editors from leading academic journals, Dr Victoria Basham from Critical Military Studies and Professor Andrew Dorman from International Affairs. Both will be speaking to broader topics that include:
- Tips for submitting work
- The peer review process
- Tackling gender gaps in publishing
