With an unprecedented number of employees working from home during the crisis, we’ve seemingly reached the ‘holy grail’ of flexible working, long sought after by women in particular. However, it hasn’t all been plain sailing. Employees have struggled to look after their physical and mental health and have found balancing caring responsibilities with working from home an immensely challenging task.

The Global Institute for Women’s Leadership will be hosting a virtual event followed by a live Q&A session with the panel below, to discuss new research carried out by My Confidence Matters in collaboration with Rubica. The research highlights that while we all want the choice to continue working flexibly, organisations need to learn from the crisis and leaders need to do more to support their employees.

Chair:

Baroness Morrissey DBE, Founder, 30% Club, and Advisory Council Member at the Global Institute for Women's Leadership

Presentation of research findings: Joy Burnford, Founder and Director, My Confidence Matters

Panellists:

- Sayeh Ghanbari, UK&I Business Consulting Leader, EY

- Felix Koch, Regional CEO EMEA & APAC, C Space

- Sonia Astill, HR Director at Wickes

- Caroline Gosling, Director of Culture & Engagement, Rubica
