Guy Burton has had academic appointments at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government in Dubai, the University of Nottingham's Malaysia Campus, the University of Kurdistan-Hewler in northern Iraq and Birzeit University in Palestine. His research interests include emerging and rising powers, international relations and comparative politics.
