King’s Sport & Wellness are proud to present Disability Sport Week 20 – 24 November, in support of UK Disability History Month 2023.

The following BeActive sessions will be adapted to a disability sport or low-impact physical activity, open and free for all of the King’s College London Community to attend.

What else is available at King’s Sport and Wellness?

Gyms

Our Health and Fitness coaches are all trained in Disability Awareness and Disability Coaching. Their most recent training is scheduled for 16 November 2023 to refresh their knowledge.

This is to ensure they are knowledgeable on how to adapt the environment and delivery for individual needs, enabling them to carry out inclusive inductions and programmes.

Waterloo Wellness Centre

Book one of our 1-1 services:

  • Nutrition Advice (Mondays)
  • Physiotherapy Consultations (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays)
  • 1-1 Sport Psychology (Wednesdays)

Through partnership with fitness provider, Les Mills, we can offer several different classes ranging from meditation to HIIT.
