The Camões Centre for Portuguese Language and Culture invites you to explore identity, memory, and storytelling through colour and form in these hands-on painting workshop inspired by Lusophone cultures.

These two workshops offer students and participants a creative space in which visual art becomes a means of engaging with and responding to Lusophone literary texts—including short stories, poems, and excerpts from longer works. Participants will explore key themes such as migration, diaspora, identity, and belonging, reflecting on how these are expressed in writing and how they might be translated into visual forms.
