In this fun and lively session, London Fine Art Studios will introduce you to the fundamentals of drawing: proportion, volume, gesture, values and edges.

Join artist and teacher Ann Witheridge for a fun and creative still-life drawing workshop where will learn how to create form and composition using proportion, light & dark and colour.

Open to all King’s students of all abilities.

Materials: no previous drawing experience is necessary! All you need is a good light source for drawing, paper, pencils and still life objects like fruit, cups, jug etc. If you have drawing paper and coloured pencils and chalk to hand then do feel free to use these.

Type of interaction: This workshop will be predominantly "follow along". There will be an opportunity to share but this will be optional, and cameras and mics will not be required.

Recording: This session will be recorded to form part of a video archive of creative activities, however this will be edited to remove all participant's contributions.

This session will be delivered online via Zoom – sign up here to get the link
