Termination Rituals in Ancient Mesoamerica: A Case from the Classic Period in Southern Puebla, Mexico.
Blas Román Castellón. Archaeologist graduated from the National School of Anthropology in 1985. In 1992 he obtained a Master of Arts degree from Arizona State University, and later a doctorate in Anthropology from UNAM's Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, where he graduated in 2000. He has taken part and led research projects on archeology and ethnography in Mexico, the United States, and Central America, with topics related to traditional salt production technology, the iconography and symbolism of ancient Mexico, and the development of urban societies in Mesoamerica.
